Wild Sky Guides is partnering with HowNOT2 and Kraken Whitewater to offer a free day of canyoning guiding or instruction plus $1000 in travel expenses or outdoor gear!

We’ve put something special together with our friends at HowNot2 and Brent Roth from Kraken Whitewater, and we wanted to share the details with you.
We’re offering a full-day guided canyon trip with us here in the Pacific Northwest. To help make it happen, our partners at @hownot_2 are covering $1000 for the winner to use on travel or for new gear from their store.
How to Enter:
It’s all happening through the HowNot2 newsletter.
On August 2nd, they’ll send out an email with an entry link at the bottom.
On August 7th, a winner will be chosen. We’ll then work with you to get the trip on the calendar before September 7th.

When & Where Is The Adventure?
When: A date that works for everyone between August 7th and September 7th, 2025.
Where: A Pacific Northwest canyon that we know and love, and are permitted to operate in.
The Fine Print (The necessary details)
No purchase is required to enter.
You must be 18+ and a U.S. resident. (We’d love to include everyone, but international giveaways have legal and logistical challenges that make them unfeasible for a trip like this).
The cost of the professional guide for the day is on us; it does not come out of the $1000 prize.
The winner needs to reply within 48 hours to confirm. If not, we’ll have to select another person.
Ryan Jenks will try to join if his schedule allows, but we can’t guarantee his presence.
We need to film the trip to show everyone it happened. By entering, you agree to be on camera. We just need to capture the experience; we don’t have to tag you or use your name.
If we have to cancel the trip for any reason, we’ll compensate you with a $1500 gift card to the HowNot2 store. If you win and then have to cancel, you still get the $1000 prize.

Search and Rescue team leaders or members in Western Washington interested in future State-supported SAR canyoning training opportunities with Wild Sky Adventure Guides are encouraged to make contact. Wild Sky Guides is planning for 2027 and beyond and is open to discussions on how to build a more skilled and prepared rescue community.
