Announcement: 2024 Wild Sky Guides / Seattle Mountaineers Canyoning Course! "Intermediate Whitewater."
Wild Sky Adventure Guides and the Seattle Mountaineers are pleased to announce an upcoming collaboration to teach Intermediate Whitewater courses in June 2024.
The pilot Wild Sky Guides and Seattle Mountaineers canyoning course was in summer 2023. The course was a success and we aim to build off of that success this year for an even better course.
We’ll be offering two, one day, Wild Sky / Seattle Mountaineers Canyoning courses. These “Intermediate Whitewater” courses cater to individuals proficient in rigging seeking to refine their skills in water movement.Seattle Mountaineers Canyoning Course
Led by experienced instructors from both Wild Sky Adventure Guides and the Seattle Mountaineers, participants will focus on mastering techniques for navigating rapids and maneuvering through canyon hydraulics. Basics of aquatic self rescue will be covered as well.

If you aren’t a Seattle Mountaineer and want to take this course, we have open availability for our non Mountaineers aligned analogue course; the Intermediate Swiftwater Course.
This 1 day course is designed for people who want to understand and move more comfortably in swiftwater hydraulics. The course combines International Canyoning Academy (ICA) swiftwater principles and techniques with local PNW canyoning best practices to create an innovate Europe meets the US canyoning course.
